Western Skies Motel

Not even 1 star. All I could find in my confirmation that I made days in advance is that 1. Payment will be processed at hotel and 2. Call the hotel if late arrival. Considering that check-in is stated in the confirmation as 3pm-12am what is considered late arrival? I arrived at 8:45p to find out the motel management gave the room away to someone who messaged day of for an arrival between 9pm-10pm. I was initially told that they were overbooked by mistake and that I was phoned to see if I was still coming. Later on in the conversation it was that I was messaged. I looked through my email since I was driving and found a generic email that did not have the name of the hotel nor a message asking if I was still coming. Poor messaging platform and why wasn't a phone call made that is more dire

Comfortable beds, excellent sleep, temperature perfect, cozy room, clean and tidy restroom, centraly located, and in and out with ease. We would most definitely stay again at Western Skies when traveling thru Clarendon, and would most definitely recommend to others.

It's alright but not the best.The bathroom was updated but there were all kinds of paint and dust in the bottom of the shower. The mirror didn't work that was supposed to light up. The water pressure was terrible. The bed was alright. The ac barely worked. The room was unbearably hot. Loud noises from the road all night. Someone was blaring music all evening. The person at the front desk was rude. She was on and on about the prices and the none existent things around town to do and places to eat

The owners are very kind, and this is an independently owned business. The room was nice and came with a fridge and microwave. The room was clean and well taken care of. Would recommend this to any traveler.
