Watson RV Park

Very nice rv park! Tim was extremely helpful in getting us to our spot and hooking up! We were towing our cargo trailer behind our Motorhome and we fit perfectly in our spot! I definitely would go back just to vacation there!!

We had a lovely evening at Watson RV park. Tim and Melissa were extremely helpful and accommodating when we had problems with our phones (due to being from the UK). The welcome pack was a nice addition. This is a lovely stop with a washing machine, dryer and a vending machine. There is also a swing for the little ones. Would definitely recommend this stop! Thank you!

Only downside was the road noise and the fairly active rail line across the highway. I just turned on my very noisy AC fan and it cancelled all the rest out. I often use the AC fan as “white noise” to help me sleep. It worked here to. I was getting desperate to find an overnight stop and saw their sign about 2 miles or so up the highway before getting to their well flagged/signed park. Not knowing anything about their automated sign in process, I called the phone number on the sign and got Melissa on the line. She walked me through the process, texted me the wifi password and took the extra time to make sure I got all set up. Very friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure speaking with her. Perfect, perfect, perfect !! Perfect half way point for overnight. Melissa was so sweet and helpful. Spaces are easy to navigate in/out. A QR code is on the power hookup to pay for your spot, super easy to use. We will definitely made this our go to between New Mexico & DFW. Thanks to the amazing hosts and welcomed us with ice cold water bottles too.

We picked Watson RV Park from the internet and needed to be close to Clarendon. The park is in a transition stage as the new owner, Tim Cole, is updating and improving the park. He is 4th generation of the family owned park and has a great regard for it. We stayed 5 nights. Since it just reopened, we were the only occupants, with exception of one overnight guest. We had a little trouble with the Shinepay system of paying for the space, but once that was figured out everything went smoothly. I had a chance to talk to and meet Tim. Very pleasent and interested in our stay. Yes there was noise from 287 and the train, but that would have been true in either if the other two RV parks in Clarendon. Note the park is about 5 miles out of town, but that allowed for better star viewing. If in that a
