Western Sands RV Park

We stayed our first winter in Yuma, Arizona 2025. We only had 5 days to make a reservation because our previous plans fell through. We looked at several RV resorts and chose Western Sands. We are so Happy we did. We made great friends, the park has an awesome pool and hot tub. Several activities also. We made reservations for this next winter before we left. You will not find a warmer, more sunny or low humidity place to stay the winter.

We needed a couple of days of not moving on our cross country RV trip and what a great choice . It was easy to park, great summer rates, and quiet. Very dog friendly but they must be walked outside the gates. Of course that keeps inside the gates very tidy. There is a tree at every parking space and a patio pad. Beautiful swimming pool and large hot tub, both with walk-in ramps. Also nice showers, a fitness room, and library. What a great place to relax.

Unless you want to feel like a stranger and unwelcome, I would avoid this park. It is really a trailer park with a few RV sites. The people here are mainly Canadian and very rude. We informed them that we had dogs, and they put down that we had 2. Then they got upset because we made some complaints about people driving through our site. If this is what Yuma is about, we will never be back. To say it is a "Resort" is a joke. The activity calendar has items on it and when you show up you are told that they have not been doing that activity for months. I informed them that throwing florescent bulbs in the trash was not legal, who knows how long this has been going on. They have a total lack of respect for this great country.

Love this place! The management is super nice and very helpful. We met some lovely people here and made long lasting friendships. The pool is wonderful they also have a wonderful hot tub. They have all kinds of activities. Huge spaces with concrete patio. We'll definitely be back❤️

Stopped in Yuma and couldn't say enough. Jane, the manager was amazing!!! The grounds were clean, and the amenities with pool, shuffleboard and horseshoes all for a great low rate, definitely recommend.
