West Texas Friendly RV Park

Our $17.50 one night stand: Passport America strikes again with a kinda level, packed gravel full hookup site at the West Texas Friendly RV park in Big Spring TX. Mostly long term folks here and surprisingly quiet during the day. They have showers and laundry however we did not use. Some unleashed dogs around and the park wifi was bearable until around 6 pm, when I guess a lot of folks signed on. You won’t need an alarm clock here on weekdays as the diesel pickups with the 8 inch tailpipes start up at 5:30 am and serenade you until at least 6:15. Bottom line: it was clean, mostly quiet and $17.50!

Nice clean park, full hookups, quiet, nice laundry, pleasant staff. All dirt roads, but level spots and large pull-throughs. Accepts Passport America so excellent place for a one night stay at $17.50. Discounts for veterans and first responders also. Mar 2024

Fairly new to the RV life, and all I have to say is great things about this place. I did stay in the North Park. It’s right off the highway, easy to access, but not a lot of noise. The park is clean and has plenty of space. The best part is the staff. The maintenance man came out and welcomed me and made sure I was settled. The young woman I spoke to and texted with is super friendly and helpful. I did not ask, but I assume she is the owner/manager. She’s awesome! I had to extend my stay a few days, and they were able to completely accommodate all of my needs. When I’m in the area, I’ll definitely be trying to stay here. Thank you so much!!

Decent spot for an overnight. About 5 miles from I20. Great for big rigs altho the gravel spots could be wider. Expect some grass burrs.

My husband & I rented an RV & drove down to TX from Chicago to see family for a few days. This RV park was excellent for us! Nice size park. We didn't hook up our rental for toilet & water so the public bathroom/shower was perfect. Clean & private! Laundry on site. The sites were clean & each site had a small stone patio. We felt safe. Very convenient location, just a quick trip to the downtown area which has a Walmart, H.E.B. grocery store, & restaurants. It caters to workers like many parks so it's quiet. Staff was super friendly! I highly recommend this park. They have 2 locations. We stayed at Wasson Rd. If we make it down there again we'll be staying here!
