I recently stayed at Wedmore Place in Williamsburg and it was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The hotel has a charming European-style feel, and every room is uniquely decorated, which makes the stay feel extra special. The atmosphere is peaceful and romantic, especially with the vineyard views and cozy fireplaces. The staff was welcoming and helpful from check-in to check-out, making everything smooth and stress-free. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially loved how quiet and tucked away it feels while still being close to Colonial Williamsburg and other attractions. If you’re looking for a charming, elegant place to stay with character and a calm vibe, I definitely recommend Wedmore Place. I would absolutely stay here again!

We’ve been coming to Williamsburg Winery and the Wedmore for years. It has been one of our favorite weekend trips in Virginia for food, wine, ambiance, great facilities and superb staff.||Unfortunately, the Wedmore seems to be losing its touch.||We were there for three days in mid May and found way too many (new) negatives.||We found a used/opened, half-full wine bottle in our room at check in.||The wooden floor in the room was sticky for some reason. Like as if someone had spilled champagne and didn’t clean it up.||The breakfast service had changed from exquisite French continental to a more American same menu every day of frozen/processed items. One of the reviewers said it was like at a Holiday Inn. We’ve had breakfast at Holiday Inns—the food is fresher, more varied and overall bette

We recently stayed at the Wedmore Place and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is tucked away on the Williamsburg Winery and you feel like you have taken a trip to Europe! Our room was warm and inviting with a lovely fireplace to enjoy. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast before taking a walk around the vineyards. The close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg makes this an excellent option to relax and enjoy the local area! We highly recommend staying at the Wedmore! Can’t wait for our next visit!

We’ve been coming to Wedmore Place for a few years now and have noticed a considerable decline in the service and condition of the rooms. The rooms are run down and not very clean for the price you’re paying. The towels, robes and linens are old and tattered with runs and holes. We’ve experienced issues with broken beds twice now. First time a new mattress and box spring was supplied, the second time the bedframe was broken and we had to be moved to another room. We were moved to another room with a broken thermostat, tv with only 1 channel, and a mattress that was hard as a rock and should also be replaced. The front desk gave us a post it note with a phone number and asked us to text maintenance to let them know what repairs were needed, I’m sorry but I don’t work here that is literally

Our visit was very mediocre. The aesthetics are beautiful but the functionality is on par with a 2/3 star travel hotel. We noted a 4pm arrival and arrived 10min before and walked into our room with wine in a melted ice bucket. It must’ve been placed a while before our arrival. The bathroom was narrow with no hot water in the shower. The sink however only had hot water. Plumbing needs to be addressed. The toilet in the Piedmont room rocked and wasn’t secured into the floor. Our room didn’t have any towels. We had to request them. Our breakfast was delivered to our room which in theory was nice but the quiche was cold and the yogurt cup was expired. Plus they brought us 2 hot coffees with only 2 half and half’s and no sugar. The TV in our room stoped working and staff was supposed to be on s
