Wedgewood Resort

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are extremely outdated and have clearly not been updated in decades. The bed and couch appeared to be from the 1970s, not joking, with old springs and what looked like original bed covers. The room smelled awful when I arrived. My room was not ready to check in until 5:30 p.m., and they had run an ozone generator in the room prior to me checking in. There was an ozone generator running in the room below mine, and the gas filled the hallway and stairwell. The doors and windows would not open more than an inch, so there was no way to get fresh air or properly circulate it. I developed a headache and had to request a room change. I explained that ozone gas is hazardous and should not be running in occupied spaces. Ozone generators have clear safety

We stayed mid-week for only three days and I think the property is usually used for longer stays. We were in the McKinley building- a very large 1 bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, living room & dining room was very nice space to relax as it had two couches (one may have been a pullout we did not check). Two TV's as well- one in the bedroom & living room. The bathroom was not fancy but very clean and good water pressure which we really needed as we spent the previous week on a cruise ship with no pressure.||We were on the first floor so no need to lug our bags up the stairs which was great. We did not see an elevator. ||We used the laundry room- $3 per load of washing or drying and surprisingly, the dryer was excellent and did the job in one go. We brought our own soap and dryer sheet

Well, this is an excellent place to come and relax, have a good time, and simply enjoy all the activities they offer. They have an excellent social area and a very large event room. You can hold all your planned activities or parties here; the ballroom is very nice, and the decorations are also excellent. The social areas are also very good, and you can enjoy the restaurants and their food. It's an excellent place to relax and unwind, so you can come and spend some time here, whether it's for your vacation or a business trip.

Positive: They did what they said they would. You call for extras the were quick about getting it to you. Staff was mostly friendly and efficient. Negative: The beds were very hard. Could feel springs through mattresses.

The staff were really wonderful, and the conference space was great. The rooms were really affordable especially considering they are essentially apartments. The rooms are dated which is fine but they stank of old smoke which was really gross. I really would have expected the rooms to have been freshened up to remove the scent (flooring, repaint, etc). TV reception was terrible.
