Waterfall Resort Alaska

I had an unforgettable trip to Waterfall Resort Alaska. From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made sure everything ran smoothly, whether it was on the water or back at the lodge. The fishing itself was incredible. We caught a wide variety of fish including king salmon, halibut, rockfish, and coho. The guides knew exactly where to take us and gave great advice throughout the trip. We went home with an amazing haul and even better memories. The resort itself is beautiful and well run. Everything was organized, from the gear to the boats to the processing of our catch. It made the whole experience stress-free so we could just focus on fishing and enjoying the stunning Alaska scenery. I can’t recommend Waterfall Resort enough.

Our trip to Waterfall Resort was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life. The team there is fantastic. We had an incredible guide/captain, Dylan, who made the trip even better. He was patient with us, always had everything ready to go, and knew exactly where to go to catch the most fish. I would highly recommend this resort. The whole experience from the float plane ride there to seeing everyone’s catch at the end of the day on the dock was fantastic. Every Waterfall person we encountered was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our guide, John, who made our trip unforgettable.

The location was great. This is one of the most efficient organizations I have experienced; and, I've seen many. The staff were wonderful. They could not do enough for you and seemed happy about doing such. The food was much more than I needed. While we caught all the fish we wanted and had great company on our boat, the boat is over crowded for five people leaving one individual in the back having to fish over one of the large outboard engines. Both full days on the water were great and very productive. The half days have less time fishing than getting to and returning to the lodge from the fishing grounds. The waterfall is a long walk from the lodge but worth seeing.
