Bear Crossing Bed and Breakfast

I loved the exquisite views, comfortable homy feeling, and hosted service off-the-charts great. Thank you Heidi and Adam for your care and lodging visiting Ketchikan. I can't say enough to the greatness of what you have done to turn your house into a wonderful vacation spot. Thanks for the hook-up for fishing which was that along with sightseeing and wildlife watching. Wonderful food and hosting services.

Heidi and Adam were great hosts with plenty of stories to share about Alaska and Ketchikan. Our room was lovely and spacious. The b&b is situated a short but steep 20 minute walk from the visitor information center where all the tours meet, so it was easy for us to get to our tours and see downtown Ketchikan.

Heidi and Adam are excellent hosts. They have stories for days about the Tshimshian culture, birding, working on boats, living in Alaska, and book recommendations. We had to take notes for things to read up on later. The views from their home are awesome. The room and private bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The DIY breakfast was easy from their nicely designed kitchen. I wish we could've stayed an extra day or two just to relax and just read. They also have a car to rent to check out all 40 miles of the Tongass Highway in Ketchikan. It is a steep 20 minute walk from downtown where the cruises dock, but it's a good workout. It's just a hilly town. Highly recommend a stay with them during your trip to Ketchikan.

Bear Crossing is an amazing place to stay! I spent two weeks while in town for the birth of my nephew and there is nowhere else in Ketchikan I would rather stay. Heidi and Adam were wonderful and made the stay all the better, as did the recent addition of Bandit! Definitely where I will be staying in the future.

Stayed here with my granddaughter after visiting Juneau and Sitka, This was by far the best place and the only one I would come back to again. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and Heidi was a wonderful host. I would recommend Bear Crossing to everyone.
