The Landing Hotel

Used to be better. Has gotten very expensive. The restaurant downstairs is good. 20+ $ a plate with coffee The upstairs restaurant is lacking. 2 years ago it was much better. Great menu. That has changed. It's all about profit now. Hard to eat with a drink for 30$. Thinking Airbnb is a better option.

Clean and comfortable.  Great bed and pillows. Nice water pressure in shower and shampoo, soaps, etc were very nice.  Shuttle service and drivers were awesome.  Shuttle really helped get us where we needed to be and on time since location is a few miles from downtown.  Our driver,Columbia, was amazing!  Okay restaurants on site.  Very decent place to stay.  Would stay again when in the area.

I have stayed here a few times on business each for 2-3 nights. It's a wonderful location right near the airport and place of business. I never had to use the shuttle which I heard is also great. The room is older but I didn't mind since the room was clean and bed was comfy. The first time I stayed near the back of the hotel causing wifi to be limited (which I need for work) but this last time it worked out great. The place is quiet in off-season and the staff up front were very nice and helpful. My initial flight delayed caused me to miss my connection and they were able to adjust the reservation without any issue which was super nice and not everywhere will do. I will definitely continue to stay here.

If you still love 90's decor and threadbare thin carpet, snow on your fat TV then this is the place for you! Our trip started with an unenthusiastic and surly front desk worker who took forever checking us in. No AC here so it was hot and musty smelly. To be fair, with the patio door open at night it was cool....but then there was the worry of someone coming into our room at night (we were on first floor) Some of the area surrounding us looked a little questionable. We were there for a business meeting. Food was late and underwhelming. conference area loud and stuffy. Also if you want to be in the "good" part of Ketchikan, this is not the place. I’ve been coming here for years with my family and the staff are consistently nice and welcoming. I like staying here but it’s also a good place to hang out while you’re waiting for the ferry or plane since it’s close by. They even let you put your luggage in storage if you want to go into town. The new furniture in the lounge area is great too and the bathrooms are always clean.
