Wasser Haus & Lodge

The room was clean and basically fine. It was on par with a hotel room of a mid-grade hotel with good queen beds, okay shower (very week water pressure), good A/C, and it was good sized with tile throughout. The location was great. The Wi-Fi is intermittent at best (never got it to connect for longer than 3 seconds). The balcony light was burned out. The plastic porch furniture was broken (one of the two chairs). It was the cheapest stay at Schlitterbahn and we were really too tired to care about anything other than the showers and beds.

Walking distance to the park is the only reason to stay here . Room I slept in had missing plug covers, a cracked door , headboard that wasn't attached properly . Couch was very worn out . The back patio is very large and nice . All inside furnishings need replacing. Water pressure was also a problem. Overall the place is begging for maintenance, but the location is great

We stayed here in 2022 and enjoyed every bit of our time. Come back this year and they got rid of the coffee machine and replaced it with a dinky hotel coffee maker! There's 12 that paid for the stay and all drink coffee. It's a house and don't have any pots or pans for cooking. So just know if you rent this house be sure to bring your kitchen!

This place is very old. Dirt in corners. Water heater visible to room with a crooked curtain in front. No service on site. Paper thin walls. Not a good value, even with 4 tickets to Schlitterbahn, in my opinion. I'd rather stay elsewhere and buy tickets separately. The perk of getting in an hour early to the park is good, but lines are still long on the slides. And be careful about adding guests to your room. Different managers will tell you different things. We paid for an extra guest, and then they wouldn't let the person into the park with us. So we paid again.

We absolutely love Schlitterbahn but staying at the resort is hit or miss. With the Wasser Haus our keys didn’t work til they had been reset 3 times. This took well over an hour because there are no services onsite and wasted a lot of our day at the park. The curtains are thin and there are lights right outside so it is not dark at night. And the water pressure was the worst I’ve ever experienced at a hotel.
