Why low stars? Well 1st let me share the place is amazing! Art is incredible. Place is very stylish and very clean. Check in is easy all via technologies. Gated parking . We'd had a very very long day. Did we feel welcomed, no. A darling young lady cleaning was there, we asked are there further instructions for we paid for early arrival. She was abrupt and not helpful except when we couldn't enter our room. She called someone and they were very gracious by letting us enter our room. There is keurig duncan donut coffee and lovely teas available downstairs. No morning bites or juices as pictured. Beds are comfy. Pillows are hard. We have stay here several time in the past and have never been disappointed. This recent trip was for 2 nights but after one night we decided we needed to drive back to Cedar Park, TX to beat the winter storm that was coming in and we only had a 3 hours window to make it home. Even though there is a 2 night minimum they were gracious and understanding enough to refund us the 2nd night without us asking. The people that manage Sophie's are the best. We'll be back.

This is one of the most "awesome Bed n Breakfast" I have ever stayed in. I cannot begin to tell you what an experience it was. Pure luxury and comfort. The property in front and out back was so interesting. It was exactly what we needed to chill and rest after a whirlwind trip from Louisiana. We were in town for a music event and booked this to be within walking distance to venue and town. Amanda and the staff were so nice and accommodating. She was so good to return my calls, as we were stuck on I-10 in traffic for several hours, and late getting in. The next day she and her staff gave us pointers where to go in town and enjoy our day. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful property, located walking distance from the charming downtown area. Rooms are spectacular. Every attention to detail was paid on design and decor. The shared spaces are roomy, comfortable and inviting. The backyard area with a pool and hot tub are an oasis. Stunning!
