Gruene River Inn

Very welcoming people. The updates are lovely and the views are amazing! A balcony overlooking the river in every room. They are still under construction, so don't let the facade deter you. The whole concept is fantastic! Will definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing! The room was perfect, clean, had cute decor, a spacious bathroom and a balcony with a view of the river… and it is walking distance to all the fun in Gruene, TX. The outside looks a little weathered, but don’t let that deter you! This place is a gem! We definitely will be back!

This was our first time to stay at Gruene River Inn during a visit to New Braunfels but it's certainly our new favorite. My husband and I prefer a place like this over a hotel chain. It was quiet and cozy with everything we needed. Our room, the Comal on 3rd floor, and I think all rooms here, have balconies that face the river which is a wonderful scene to wake up to. Also, the little fireplace warmed the room up quickly, kept it toasty and we had the option to crack the door to the balcony when it got a bit too warm. Hearing the flow of the water was so nice and relaxing. We had a easy walk down to the little town where Gruene Hall is as it's just down the road a bit. Looking forward to our next visit.

Came here with my husband and let me tell you...This place is absolutely beautiful! This was our first time here and we enjoyed it so much and the staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. There was complimentary snacks available when we arrived. The rooms are decorated nice and each room has its own unique style. There was plenty of towels in the bathroom and you can relax in the HUGE jacuzzi tub. Loved sitting out on the balcony and seeing the river from there. Breakfast was delicious. Can't wait to plan our next trip here! This is the perfect place for couples who want a romantic getaway.

We love this place! We were here last week and it was a last-minute type of reservation as my husband and I decided to elope. The owners gave us a beautiful room with a comfy bed and an amazing view! They also went the extra mile of giving us a cake and mimosas. It was a relaxing night and we love the location as well. My husband and I just walked to Gruene River Grill for dinner and back without any problem! We had a wonderful breakfast and spent the day by the river. We will definitely book again!
