Wanderlust Inn

Positive: Location, roominess of the room, bed comfort, coffee maker in room, blackout curtains Negative: Very noisy. Sounded like elephants in the rooms above. MY HAIRDRYER DID NOT WORK. I did not discover this, of course, until I stepped out of the shower. LACK OF A FRONT DESK means lousy customer service.

I stayed at Wanderlust Inn for an overnight visit, and overall it did the job—but it definitely came with some personality. The room itself was clean, which I appreciated, and the bathroom window overlooking the yard was a nice touch—perfect if you enjoy a little bonus scenery while brushing your teeth. That said, the walls are so thin I’m pretty sure I could’ve joined my neighbors’ conversation without leaving my bed. The bathroom drywall was flaking off like it was trying to check out before I did, and the shower head looked like it had seen some things and wasn’t ready to talk about them yet. All in all, it’s fine for a quick overnight stay, but if you’re a light sleeper or hoping for luxury spa vibes, you may want to pack earplugs and lower your expectations—just a bit.

It was not quite what we expected. I will say it was clean, no animal smells despite being dog friendly, but very loud. You can literally hear your neighbor flip their light switch. Also, you know when everyone is using the bathroom. We had loud upstairs neighbors our first night, but the remaining nights were ok. We felt the photos were misleading and skillfully cropped. Also the locks get stuck and had it been another location, safety would have been a major concern. |The ” my place” restaurant behind this made it better. Highly recommend it for breakfast!

I loved this place. I will be back again, we really liked the deluxe king room. Good fast communication from phone number although no one physically there. Kitchen was well stocked. Lots of value and close to restraints and stores

Stayed in room #7 for a night. Room itself is very beautiful and located next to the beach. Self check in and check out with a door code sent to your phone just before your check in time. The room was overall very clean, but there were some sections that obviously were not being checked. Hair in the shower mat, and stained luggage runner. My door lock also stopped working and I was locked outside of the room. Management was easy to reach and maintenance was there pretty fast to fix the issue.
