Walt Disney World Swan

My husband and I stayed here for the first time for our mini Disney vacation (my husband surprised me with the hotel!) and we were beyond impressed by this hotel! From the moment we drove up and walked into the lobby, I was blown away by the elegant aesthetic and the scent was very pleasant and brought a sense of relaxation from the moment we walked in. We also loved how close the hotel is to the parks and the convenience of the water taxi. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, down to housekeeping addressing my husband by name when he opened the door for her. While out at Epcot, we returned to our room cleaned and organized. They organized our items by size and even picked up a couple clothing items from the floor and set them on the desk, folded! We were very impressed. My one

I slept so well here. The mattress was very firm but very comfortable. As soon as I laid down I was ready to sleep. The room had a good amount of space and complimentary bottles of water. There was a sink outside of the bathroom, which worried me, but thankfully the bathroom also had a sink in it. Another case of a full bathroom in one room! Excellent. The toilet though... What's with the toilet? Sometimes one push of the lever is enough to flush it. Sometimes you have to push it two or three times. Sometimes, it seems like you have to hold the lever down. It made no sense and usually did a false flush, where it would fill with more water and then stop without flushing down anything. Other than the toilet, I really liked everything about this resort. We just completed two nights at the Swan following a cruise. I expected an average, generic corporate hotel after reading many reviews about the lack of Disney theming. However, we LOVED this hotel and the service. Our room was huge, we were upgraded from no view to a gorgeous resort view, and we got checked into a room at 10:30 am following our cruise (which I did not expect but was amazing). The rooms are updated, clean, and modern, and while we like VRBOs for longer stays with kids, I would go back to the Swan in a heartbeat for a hotel stay. Don’t hesitate, it’s great. We took the boat and walked to the parks, so easy!

I enjoyed my time here at The Swan, and I would go back again. The location is definitely the highlight of the hotel, with buses to disney, and a quick few minute walk to Boardwalk. You can even get a quick ferry to Epcot. The service is great and a quick check in process even with a lot of people all checking in at the same time. I stayed in a two bed room with a balcony, and a view of Crescent lake. The room was clean with no issues. The restaurant options in the Swan, and the other two hotels are really great! They all never miss.

Overpriced, Non-Luxury Experience After a spontaneous and wonderful day at Disney, we decided to extend our trip and treat ourselves to one night at what we believed would be a luxury hotel: Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. We arrived late, exhausted from a full day at Magic Kingdom, and were looking forward to a relaxing, high-end experience. Unfortunately, that’s not what we received. When we approached the front desk (with no one else in line), the only associate there greeted us with, “Do you have a quick question?” — not exactly the welcome you expect at a luxury property. When we said we were checking in, she told us she was “working on numbers” and that someone would be with us shortly, without even looking up. A second staff member came to the desk but also failed to acknowledge us.
