W South Beach

Everything about our stay was great. Rebecca at the front desk welcomed us. She was friendly and very helpful. Our room was not yet ready but we were able to use the changing room- complete with water, coffee, shower to freshen up and change for the pool/beach. Our luggage was safely stored until our room was ready and we were able to enjoy the beautiful beach/pool area while we waited for our room. Rebecca let us know if we needed a ride to local restaurants, the concierge can reserve a car- this worked out very well. Our room was modern, comfortable and the view was awesome. All staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful. EJ at the beach set up our chairs and umbrella with a smile. Would recommend highly.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and beautifully designed room 402 in particular was a standout. Waking up to floor-to-ceiling ocean views never got old, and the space itself felt refreshingly generous for a beachfront hotel. The layout was thoughtful and comfortable, more like a well-appointed residence than a temporary stay. We stay on South Beach every February and this is at least our fourth stay at the W. Staff in the hotel, restaurants, pool and beach are unequivocally attentive and helpful! Anna runs the pool deck like a professional event planner, ensuring families have space together and adequate shade for those who need it, while adjusting chairs and umbrellas like Jenga pieces! Pool servers run all day managing drink and food orders with smiles and their managers go above and beyond to ensure guests are well looked after. We recently had a bit of a snafu with the service at the beach and the way that the two Juan's handled everything was exemplary and shows that at the W they care about service and the end experience. Disappointing Ending to an Otherwise Beautiful Stay I recently spent a special weekend at the W South Beach with my daughter and my mother, celebrating my mother’s 77th birthday. The hotel is truly beautiful, our room was lovely, and the service throughout most areas of the property was warm and professional. We created wonderful memories and genuinely enjoyed our stay. After check-out, we stored our luggage and went out for lunch and a walk through the antique market on Lincoln Road. When we returned to pick up our luggage before heading to the airport, there was a cheese and wine activation taking place by the pool.
