The Clifton

I was totally satisfied with my stay at the Clifton Hotel. The rooms were very clean, and I even had a nice view of Collins Ave, which was a great bonus. Mauricio, the manager, is super friendly and incredibly helpful – you really feel welcome here. The location is amazing: literally a 2-minute walk to the beach, and there are so many great restaurants and cafés right around the corner. Perfect spot if you want to enjoy Miami Beach without any stress. I would definitely stay here again!

Staying at The Clifton was fabulous! You won’t find a nicer group of people than the ones that work here! Perfect location in South Beach Miami!! 1 block from beach and awesome restaurants and clubs all around. We will stay there next time we are in Miami! The Hotel is amazing! You don’t need a car in this area. Every thing is within walking distance!

We stayed at the Clifton Hotel for three nights. Based on the consistently excellent reviews, we expected a certain standard and were genuinely looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately, our expectations were disappointed. The hotel is extremely noisy, and you can hear almost everything from neighboring rooms and the hallway. The rooms are very small to the point that two suitcases fill nearly the entire space. Overall, the hotel feels quite outdated. The air conditioning is so loud that it is practically unusable, and there is a noticeable level of humidity in the rooms. Starting from the second night, we also had no hot water. Because of the problem with the hot water, we received a substantial refund. I really appreciate how the issue was handled. The staff were also very friendly and

I booked through Airbnb and everything was great, easy self check-in. The unit was clean, and everything I expected based on the pictures. The air conditioning was powerful, which I appreciated, and I was happy that there was a mini fridge in the room. The bathroom had nice gold finishes. The host was very quick to respond to any questions, and I really appreciated that they were able to hold my bags between check-out time and the time to leave for my flight. The area is great, it’s one block from the beach, and super walkable to all of south beach’s top locations. The Mexican restaurant just next door was great, and came in handy for a quick, affordable meal. Would definitely stay again.
