Dried roaches in the “welcome lounge”. Very welcoming… the shop is very cute, cute things but couldn’t find anyone to help. The front desk team was very kind. The new restaurant Roman is very over priced for frozen foods. DoorDash or walk down the strip. Chaotic at all times. Drunk people everywhere, loud music everywhere, seemed very very trashy. Prostitution going down at the pool. You can’t sleep at night due to the clubs going on all night. |Tried to go to the spa after being kept up all night by the clubs.|Only amenity is the shower. Showers smell like pee. Roaches in the locker rooms. My massage was interrupted multiple times since they don’t have white noise machines in the halls and you can hear everything in the hall way. The nail stations are out in the open so you get no priva
We got in early, 9am. The staff did everything they could to get a room for all 3 parties that were early. Got two of us rooms immediately and only took about an hour to get the third room ready. Bar Staff at the pool and downstairs bar were friendly, engaging and helpful on suggesting drinks. Never and empty glass. Valet service was the best I have encountered. I told the morning valet, Justin, I would be heading out at 7am every day and my car was ready every time I came out of the hotel. The afternoon staff and night staff were fantastic as well. Always asked if i would be leaving in the next hour and if so my car was ready when I came out even on Friday during the pool party hours and that night when the entrance was blocked. We had a few other specialty things
I’ll start with the bad, because while there were some positives, the negatives were significant for me. First, there’s no sundry shop at all, meaning no quick access to basics like mini meds, drinks, snacks, or even a vending machine. There’s also no loyalty lounge or even a common workspace, so if you need a table to sit and work, your room is your only option. Adding to that, the bottled water in the room is $11 per bottle - kind of excessive. The biggest daily for me was coffee. After 9am, no coffee available in the lobby, no coffee bar, and when I asked about options I was directed to restaurant and told they only had espresso, no lattes, no flavors. The closest Starbucks is a 10-min walk in an area not so walkable, so we Door Dash coffee every late morning. At this price point? Th
I would like to personally thank Huberto for the outstanding service he provided during our convention at the W Scottsdale. His level of professionalism and attention to detail were truly top-notch. He made our entire team feel welcome and well taken care of, to the point where it genuinely reinforced our desire to return to this hotel for future events. I sincerely hope the management team shares this feedback with him. Excellent work, Huberto—please keep up the great work.
The W Scottsdale is everything you want in a luxury hotel — stylish, energetic, and perfectly located. From the second we arrived, the vibe was top-tier and the entire staff made us feel like VIPs. But the real highlight of our stay was the over-the-top customer experience Sam Johnson provided. Sam went above and beyond in every way — attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. You can tell he takes pride in making sure guests have an unforgettable experience, and he absolutely delivered. It’s rare these days to get service that feels that personal and that exceptional. Between the atmosphere, the comfort, and the service, this stay was a home run. If you’re staying at the W Scottsdale, do yourself a favor and ask for Sam Johnson — he’s the kind of person who makes you want to come ba
