Village At Steamboat Springs

It is my birthday trip with my family so we headed out and rented through mountain resorts and ended up at The sheraton, for we really only wanted to stay here it was our favorite. We got here and noticed it was 85 degrees and it wouldn’t go down at all, we called mountain resorts in the morning after sleeping in it and they promised someone would come out by that night. We called again at 2 and they said someone had came out and fixed it, however we were in our room the whole time and no one came. Then they said someone will come now, 5 hours later at 9 we called again and finally they sent someone up and he had no clue what to do, he just gave us box fans. They said someone would come out in the e morning and they did but they said they can’t fix it for a week. They gave us an option of

Very nice room and very clean. Really enjoyed having our own private hot tub. Good parking and easy access. Elevator was slow.

First time I’ve had to pull my bed out of the wall. No AC so summertime is hot hot even with the window open and the stand up fan going. If you need anything after 9 good luck. We had a spill on the bed and were told we would have to go to the club house and could only get a blanket. In a decent location. The indoor pool was broken and the steam room smelled and was filthy. Sauna was nice and so was the outdoor pool.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at the Wyndham in Steamboat Springs. They provided coffee and muffins every morning as we made our way out for different adventures. Our room was spacious, very clean and fully equipped for all the cooking we did. Great location for summer activities such as visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and Dinosaur National Monument. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and the concierge desk made a great recommendation for a hot spring. Will definitely be back!

We have been to many Wyndham RCI resorts, this was not a Gold Star resort as advertised.||When you first walk into the living room, there is a TV that is half the size of the opening with wires hanging down below. every time you walked in this is what you saw, TVs are cheap. You can easily get an appropriate size TV that fits for a Gold Star resort, felt like walking into motel every time we walked in as it is the first thing you see. if we sat on the back patio, we got to look to the dumpster which was 15 feet from our room for the view. the location is great to go to visit places in Steamboat Springs. ||The pool and hot tubs were also very nice.
