Villa Sposa

We had such a great time at Villa Sposa! The design of the house is really fun and eclectic and the location is fantastic, very private and serene and right between the Beleayre and Plattekill ski resorts. Our teens loved hanging out in the hot tub and it was super cozy to spend time by the fireplace. I would absolutely recommend it if you want to stay someplace that doesn't feel like an average bland Airbnb.

The villa is an amazing experience! Our kids loved dipping in the outdoor hot tub and we loved the grand master bedroom as well as the house’s eclectic decor. The host is the best too. She’s attentive and on point with area recommendations. The villa is a fantastic find! We are sure to book again!!

This was my second visit, as fabulous as I remembered! Will hopefully return again. I cannot recommend strongly enough, and truly appreciate Mercedes for welcoming us to her space. It is a personal and highly curated museum. The piano was a lot of fun, the hot tub(s), the furniture, everything was beyond exceptional.

Just the most spectacular home we have ever been in, let alone have had to ourselves. We got married at Villa Sposa three years ago, in an intimate ceremony with immediate family and closest friends, and the profound beauty and magic of this space and the person who keeps it are still talked about with reverent awe. We caught that the house was up for sale, and so for our third anniversary we returned to spend time in Villa Sposa for possibly the last time. It was as radiant as ever, with somehow even more treasures and surprises adorning the surfaces. Villa Sposa - and the ever helpful host Mercedes - is just amazing. As you head north on Rt 30, the villa gently rises above the valley and then come a series of beguiling surprises at every turn in this lovely (and most unique) place to stay. To say its a delightful smorgasbord of eclectic style and ephemera puts it lightly. I'll be back!
