Vernondale Motel

This place is what it is. It is a place to laydown and sleep. It is cheap, don't expect much. End of story. I've stayed here a few times now. Right next to Teresa's Deli. If you haven't ordered food from them. DO IT! Also not far away is Walnut Creek and Poor Richards Bait shop. So obvious a good spot for fishermen. I'm mostly giving this a 5 star review because of someone else dumb review. Some of the stuff she said is dumb. Seems she was expecting something really nice and for $60 a night and then just nitpicked about everything. New flash sweet heart. $60 is cheap for a room. What did you expect? People like her are why we need to be able to down vote reviews.

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. The room we had was so small (10x10), the bathroom floor was filthy, the towels weren't even close to being white, there was no outleto in the bathroom for drying your hair, the bathroom door did not latch when you closed it, you had to practically sit sideways on the toilet to reach the toilet paper holder on the wall behind you AND the air conditioner was in the wall in the bathroom. We left the A/C on while we went to get a bite to eat, in hopes of cooling the room off. When we got back and opened the door, it smelled like something had died in there. IIhave a strong stomach, but the smell had me dry heaving. We were forced to turn the A/C off because that's what was causing the smell. There were only 2 small windows in the room...the 1 in the ac
