Maple Motel

This is a perfect motel if you need a place to sleep, use the bathroom and has a kitchen. If you’re looking for a full service hotel, this isn’t it. This was a perfect place to serve as our resting spot after a long morning of hunting, or a long evening of hunting. The Maple Motel is basically our hunting/fishing lodge. Room number 4. Hardwood floors. Clean room, kitchenette with a “dorm room” refrigerator. Clean bathroom. Parking just out your door. A very suitable place for a weekend hunting trip. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. 10/10, will stay again.

This hotel is nasty! The room had a odor that was disgusting, the sheets were stained and the comforter had hair all over them, the toilet had stains all over it and the air conditioner did not work! They said they would refund our money but then changed their mind because we didn't leave a good review! So no refund....I leave reviews everywhere I stay and I travel a lot and this was the worst by far and I don't usually leave bad reviews but I don't want other's to deal with what we did.

I made a mess of this. Travelled without GPS and I didn’t read the hotel email properly. I was in a rush. Had a meeting to go to and realised there is no reception, no staff. It’s all by electronic door code. Lesson learned. Always read the email. Anyhow, the room is basic, motels are basic! Nothing unusual.

Very clean, spacious, updated rooms. Rented two rooms. Room #2 has a very small shower. Room #4 has a shower tub comb so it was nice and roomy. Beds are comfy but a bit noisy and small (full size beds) Sounds like there is cardboard in them. Easy access to Walnut Creek Marina. Would definitely stay here again.

My fifth year staying here. What can I say that hasn't been said many times in the other reviews. Perfect location, clean, roomy, and Corey is very responsive to any needs we may have. Can't wait till next year. If only Corey could control the rain, ha!
