What a huge blessing it was that we didn't get bed bugs, or get arrested for saying anything negative about our stay. That being said, the Country Inn & Cottages in Fredericksburg, TX. Their motto says "Arrive as strangers, leave as friends." Nothing could be further from the truth. From the water leaking into the room from the chimney, to the grim and dirty hovel we stayed in, you end up leaving tired and pissed off. When we took the key in and questioned the "Manager" she was rude, defensive, insulting, and she called the police to escort us off the property. We didn't yell, cus, or act aggressively towards her. Avoid staying here!!! You would be better off staying in your car in the WalMart parking lot. The microwave was so old it was turning yellow. The 1999 square TV was not e
