Venice Beach Cottage Retreat

I would give this lovely home 10 Stars if I could! This cottage has absolutely everything a traveler could want or need. The owner is so thoughtful about every little detail of the home. Her communications were perfect. From the initial check in, throughout our stay and after leaving she has gone above and beyond to make it seamless. The updates are all professional and high end. One of my favorite parts of the cottage is the walk in closet. . It was a great place to hide our suitcases and hang up our clothing without having them all of the place, which is usually the case for us! I had the opportunity to stay in this lovely cottage while my home was being worked on. Susan offers every amenity you could possibly ask for from crisp cool sheets to cozy robe and large white towels. The shower area is naturally lite and has a wonderful heating system. The bathroom is well stocked as well. The kitchen was everything you need to cook a gourmet meal and if you are so inclined there is comfy outdoor seating. The cottage is tucked away behind a secure gate so you can feel comfortable staying there as a solo traveler as I did. Highly recommend- this is a little get away you could comfortably stay in overnight or for weeks!

This cottage was far from private. Was disturbed constantly by the owner. There were several doorbell/motion cameras throughout the small space outside we began to wonder if there were cameras hidden inside the cottage. It was a Very uncomfortable & creepy feeling. Don't measure the space by the pics, You will be disappointed. There wasn't a dedicated parking space for paying guest. The homeowner didn't give Us that grace to park in the driveway.
