Hotel Erwin

This hotel should be 5 stars not 4. We stay at Hotel Erwin yearly and I want to recognise Deseray for the exceptional care she showed our family. Every single day she went out of her way to create thoughtful little tasks and moments of engagement that made such a difference to our stay. Her kindness, patience, and natural ability to connect made everything feel easier and more enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely intuitive and caring. Hotel Erwin is very lucky to have her.

I stayed at Hotel Erwin, and it far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything felt perfect.||The rooms are incredible—beautifully designed, spotless, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel feels very safe and has an amazing, relaxed Venice Beach vibe. Breakfast was awesome and a great way to start the day.||A special shoutout to Frank at the door, who was incredibly helpful and charming and the amazing lady who does breakfast. All the staff here really made me feel welcome.||The location simply can’t be beat: right by the beach and close to everything, yet still peaceful. Honestly, the entire experience was flawless. I can’t recommend Hotel Erwin highly enough and would absolutely stay here again.

Great stay right in the heart of the action! Steps to the beach and plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. Rooms are clean and modern have plenty of character. The staff is amazing--warm, welcoming and Incredibly helpful-- shoutouts to Noe and Frank who made my stay even more amazing. Head up to the roof at sunset to Kassi, incredible food and cocktails. They also have a Pizza Girl at the hotel that's open till 10:00.

UPDATE: The hotel no longer offers complimentary hot buffet and bread/jam until 10:30. Instead, they have an a la carte service that runs 7-10 AM and brownies, coffee/tea, juice and granola as complimentary. Had a pleasant surprise coming here for a second time when I went down to enjoy the breakfast slightly past 10 AM.

My wife and I needed a get-away and chose an ocean view suite at the Hotel Erwin. |The view was simply phenomenal, and the service (Frank at the front desk, Billy & Santos at valet parking) was absolutely top notch. |As LA locals, we found the perfect escape from our day-to-day lives even though it was less than an hour away from where we live. It felt like we had gone on vacation for an extended weekend or more -when in fact, it was only for one night! |Offering eclectic shopping with so many amazing choices for extraordinary food -in an artistic atmosphere that only Venice CA can provide, it seemed like we had traveled far from home for far longer than we did.|No jet lag and affordable, I think we’ve just found an oasis in Dog Town…|SO stoked, we’ll be back!
