Vacation Village Resort, Clermont Florida

The water smell is unbearable. So many small issues they became big as we are moving out 10 miles away... the bed was off the frame.The can't open or screens in the whole was gmean.The drain in the bathroom backed up till there was inches of water before your shower was done. The dryer does not dry your clothes. This was well stocked with cleaning supplies. The urine smell is quite strong in unit 8. The pool is very dirty. Management says though they have drained the pool more than once the chemicals are fine. They're just having a problem with the filtration. Staff infection.

Great place to stay. Olympic size beautiful pool. Very pet friendly. Staff very helpful. WiFi. Laundry facilities located close to pool. Beautiful park like grounds with playground equipment, basketball, tennis courts and pickleball court. Beautiful Lake Louisa a shortwalk from the property & on the Clermont Chain of Lakes for boaters & floaters. Close to shopping & restaurants.

I am very displeased with how my wife and I have been treated by vacation village. When we agreed to sit through the timeshare sales pitch, we were promised a three day/2 night voucher for a stay at the Orlando resort which needed to be used within a year. Firstly, the sales representative who spent three hours with us was very disrespectful towards my wife, making sexual jokes/innuendos throughout the pitch. Afterwards, when we tried to book our voucher, we were told that there was an extra $100 fee that we were never informed about per the agreement. We were promised our voucher could be used anytime within one year and we would only need to pay taxes on the stay. However, this apparently was not the case. Stayed at a private owned villa. That's was nice! But the pool is horrible, it was green. Looks nothing like the pictures on web site. It needs to be brushed and vacuumed. I would not think it would be safe to swim in.

Vacation Village homeowners deserve better. The HOA is overcharging for repairs, hiring relatives, and still hasn’t replaced the roofs. HOA President Karen is unprofessional, even contacting our guests after hours about matters already handled by the manager Nicholas. The cleanliness of the units is awful—they clearly aren’t doing deep cleans, and it must be a new crew. Now we’ve got a young man riding the HOA’s golf cart at 1 a.m.—a huge liability risk. This community needs transparency, accountability, and competent leadership immediately.
