Stayed in this hostel 1 night while traveling through Salt Lake City. I arrived late in the day as a walk-in with my traveling companion. The manager, John, went way out of his way to accommodate us and make sure we were taken care of and felt happy, comfortable and safe. The other guests were quiet and friendly. Had a very good stay.
Given I had too do some review reading, first thing that came too mind was, how could all this be true? Told myself GoodLuck. .<br/>About a month, yesterday walked right passed what turned out to be a pleasant experience; this place is unique in it's own form, variety of people from different walks of life, with one thing in common open minded and mindful too the need for shelter! Will definitely be open to doing weekly stays , given I speak for Experience, trust your Struggles!")
Personally I enjoyed the place the staff there make you feel welcome. And the other guests are a welcome delight everyone gets along with one another like there family. The manager keeps the place clean and tiddy. Ive got no complaints at all and the price is awesome cant beat it anywhere in town.its a enjoyable place to stay . I highly recommend it to all people and all ages they have day rates weekly and monthly rates and they are reasonable for every budget. Try it you'll be glad you did. Sincerely Lloyd Ririe
I have stayed at this establishment multiple times over the last 12 years. 12 years ago when you walked in you'd have a nice community area where people sat, conversated and ate together. A little further past the kitchen you'd find a larger area with a decent couch, a couple of lounge chairs and a big screen TV. There were also a couple of computers with internet access. Back then it was [$14 a night and a good value for the money. Today, it's $30 a night and none of the things I described exist anymore. You can't put food in the community fridges because it will be stolen in the middle of the night. The manager who was recently fired is a raving drug addict who has no problem stealing your things while your at work and could care less of any complaints. I think the new manager John is of
I like the caretaker, RaBit, for he does the best to make the place comfortable. He keeps it clean and in order. If there are faults, and there are, it is beyond his control. When I visit Salt Lake City again, I'd consider staying here again. I felt like one of the friends over when I was here. The one downside is that there is limited parking and the air wasn't quite cool enough. Still would stay there.
