What a wonderful surprise to find this gem of a hotel in salt lake City. They've taken an old train depot and completely remodeled it. Both a mixture of modern and retro, the lobby is stunning and the customer service was on point. I thought the rooms were all so well designed and all of the public areas were beautifully outfitted. Breakfast everyday at the restaurant was met with a big smile and excellent service... A few small suggestions like they need better coffee in the room like an Nespresso machine.... The music in the lobby early in the morning was way too loud and I would suggest having a staff member straighten all the furniture and pick up all the glasses in the lobby the night before so that when people arrive in the morning the lobby looks refreshed
I stayed here not long after it first opened and absolutely loved it. The place itself is stunning! you can feel the history everywhere, and it’s so cool that it used to be a train station.|What really stood out back then was the staff. They were next-level, polished, genuine, and super attentive. It felt like real luxury, not just looks. The front desk team made you feel special, and that’s what set it apart.|Lately it feels different. The hotel is still beautiful, but the staff doesn’t have that same spark. They’re nice, but it’s more “average hotel” vibes now like a Super 8 or Motel 6 level of energy, not Autograph Collection. T-shirts, washed out jeans, tennis shoes, not much warmth or pride in what they do. It’s not that anyone’s rude, it just doesn’t feel luxury anymore.|Still worth
Our stay at Asher Adams was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning, with an incredible sense of history that adds so much character and charm to the experience. You can truly feel the story of the building the moment you walk in. The staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel taken care of the entire stay. Room service was fast, delicious, and exactly what we needed after long days on the mountain. The location is unbeatable—close to everything and only about 40 minutes from the ski resorts, which made it an ideal home base for snow sports. Between the comfort, service, history, and convenience, this hotel checked every box. This will absolutely be our go-to spot whenever we travel in for skiing or snowboarding. Highly recommen
I had an amazing stay at Asher Adams, Autograph Collection in Salt Lake City! The historic and nostalgic charm, with its Union Pacific railway heritage, was unforgettable. The rooms (bathroom) were immaculate, blending old-world elegance with modern comfort perfectly. The drinks were fantastic, and the service was excellent. I loved being able to take a photo and send it to my daughter in a wax-sealed envelope from the hotel’s photo booth, a truly unique touch. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Asher Adams, Autograph Collection if you’re visiting Salt Lake City! Oh and the gym was the 🔥
We stayed at Asher Adams for several days while in town on business. We had an excellent first impression and will readily return. Mark, the valet, provided a fabulous greeting and went out of his way to assist us. He is likely THE BEST valet we have ever had. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed was comfortable and linens in good condition. Coffee was unique in that it came in “tea bags” and the room had an instant hot water pot. REAL coffee cups and spoons were provided. This was an appreciated amenity. The overall condition of the hotel was clean and in very good condition. A very good balance of beauty and historic decor. Our dining experiences were equally impressive. Breakfast was daily in Rouser. Food was consistently delicious. Service was attentive an
