Hyatt House Salt Lake City/Downtown

My second stay here and both stays have been very enjoyable. I love the location of the hotel being across the street from Delta Center. I love the look and feel of the hotel. Breakfast options were good. The room was very nice. Very clean and functional. The bathroom was large. Shower pressure was ok. Wifi was good. Refrigerator might need a little inspection as it did not get water cold but that was ok. The team member at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again in the future!

An essential service of a hotel is sleep. On this, the hotel management has clearly weighed the costs and decided that a certain percentage of guests will simply not sleep. They have a known problem of broken thermostats documented in other google reviews and acknowledged by the front desk. In the middle of the night the temp rose to 73 which is not a good sleeping temp. After trying to address the issue for an hour in the middle of the night, we determined it was broken. The front desk gave us batteries which did not work. And a fan which just is not the same as a functioning HVAC. Its likely that the next guest will be invited to stay in the same room with the same broken thermostat. Management invests tons of money into heating pools that are barely being used while they neglect complet

The blinds in the room had to be manually reset everytime we wanted to use them. The refrigerator in the roof was incredibly loud. The gabarge disposal didn't work. The TV kept dimming for no reason. We were placed in a handicap room, so the shower basically flooded the whole bathroom everytime we used it. The Hbar was closed and not disclosed on the website when we booked. It was very loud at night, we could hear the street below (we were on the third floor. The location was convenient to the convention center and restaurants.

A Great Stay at Hyatt House My recent trip stay at Hyatt House was fantastic. The staff greeted me warmly, and check-in was quick—they even shared local tips. My suite had a cozy bedroom, a small living area, and a full kitchen—perfect for making quick snacks. The bed was super comfortable, and free high-speed Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The daily free breakfast had great options, from fresh fruit to made-to-order omelets. The evening social (weekdays only) was a nice bonus for unwinding. The fitness center had all I needed, too. Only a tiny downside: the pool area needed a little sprucing up. But overall, it’s a top pick for comfort and value.

Overall, a pretty good stay. This is my second time staying here at the hotel and the price was very competitive for a Monday thru Wednesday stay.||The best things about this hotel are its beds (very comfortable) and the location...walking distance to all of downtown. Parking was attached and no issues and a decent $25 fee per night. Many restaurants within walking distance.||The biggest cons are the rooms could use some updating. The in-room lighting was poor and in dire need of better lights. The hotel is about 10 years old and could use some tweaks here and there.||But very satisfied with the bed comfort, price and location. I might stay here again.
