Excellent campground. Clean and well maintained. Fire woor for purchase on site from the camp hosts until 6pm. Very nice restroom and shower facility. Potable water taps throughout the camp areas. Camp sites, yuts, cabins and delux yurts all at this location. Some are pet friendly (check the specific spot for details.) Adjacent to Lake Marie, this is a beautiful, secluded 1 mile hile loop with a park at one end with a small sandy beach. We have come here for years and love this location.

One of my absolute favorite campgrounds on the 101! Lighthouse State Park has it all, a peaceful pond, a variety of scenic hiking trails (forest paths, dunes, and hikes straight to the beach), plus easy access to the whale viewing deck and lighthouse. Winchester Bay Beach is just minutes away. Showers are immaculate with hot water and great pressure. The grounds are pristine, and the camp hosts are incredibly helpful. Truly one of my best state park experiences! Full hook ups, tent camp, or rent a cabin

Although the official check-in time is 4 PM, it seems they generally allow early check-ins after 2 PM. allowed to build a campfire, and firewood can be purchased at the campground between 8 AM and 4 PM. The campsite’s shower facilities and dishwashing sinks were excellent. Within the campground, there’s a trail that connects directly to Lake Marie. The 1.5-mile loop trail was absolutely stunning—we got to enjoy it twice a day, in the early morning and late afternoon, with our dogs. Experiencing this trail is a must; it’s what truly gives meaning to staying at this campground. It’s a highly recommended campsite with great accessibility to Winchester Bay and Coos Bay. I stayed at site 026, but this particular site is unusually close to the neighboring one—so I’d suggest avoiding this spot w

Tidy, neat, well kept campground! Nice spot for tent camping. Lots of bold camp critters roaming around, including an early bird wake up call and some camp thieves who nibbled on our bread. Our fault. Keep your food closed up folks. Sort walk to the lake and lighthouse and dunes. A little longer to the beach access. The gift shop at the lighthouse is pretty cool too.

I camped here two nights in summer 2024. All sites appear very well cared for. They are spacious and mostly separated from adjacent sites by trees. I had a tent site, with water nearby. There are also RV sites with water and electricity, as well as yurts. Multiple camp hosts help keep things running smoothly. There is a beautiful lake within the park, a short walk from the campground. The titular lighthouse is also a short walk. It is in excellent condition and well worth the guided tour. Tour includes access to the outstanding museum featuring early settlement of the Umpqua River, the challenges to navigation, establishment of the lighthouse and the life boat station here. The upper floor is devoted to local Coast Guard history; it is beautifully done.
