Smith River Falls Campground

The drive is about 30 minutes off the 101, there is no service at the campground and it feels very private. There were two other campers when we were there, but everyone was quiet and respectful. We couldn’t have a campfire, so keep that in mind. The location was very pretty and peaceful, we had to drive down the road a few minutes and park on the shoulder to access the waterfalls. The host and her dog were friendly as well.

CJ was such a welcoming wonderful host. I truly cannot wait to come back!!! My children adored her and so do I. The nature is so magical in this area. Very peaceful, very safe lots of incredible wildlife.

Really clean campground even in the bathroom. We enjoyed our stay at the campground. The host Gil was helpful with letting us know the fire rules and then gave us space. There were a few other campers and it was very peaceful. Cool little creek a few steps away and a beautiful water fall a small jaunt down the road. We'll be back for sure.

Gil and his dog Kona were incredible camp hosts. Immediately greeted me and had a nice conversation about our Super Pacific Camper shells. He made me feel very welcomed and gave me the rules and guidelines. This is my new favorite campground. You can tell he's very passionate about his job! The spots are right on the water. Will be coming back here every year!

Great little spot, walking distance from the falls. Quiet, simple, easy dispursed camping.
