Twin Oaks Resort

It’s really unfortunate because the cabins are cute and they have close access to the lake and a nice pool. The owners are rude and constantly watching your every move. We have stayed here twice and both times we had constant complaints from Debbie. We have toddlers and they were jumping and laughing in the pool, she whipped her head around a couple times and whispered under her breath “those kids need to quiet down.” We would be in and out of the cabin and she would come by and get on to us for not closing the door because that froze up the AC unit. The washing machine wasn’t working after inserting 6 quarters and we went and asked Debbie about it and she blamed us saying we didn’t put in enough quarters then realized she didn’t even plug in the machine. We went to enjoy the fire pit one

This was our second time down here and we enjoyed it as much if not more than first time. We come with 2 other couples and the cabins are nice and homey. The pool is great and the pavilion at the end is a nice place to snack or have dinner play cards or games. The owners Debbie & Tom are very nice and helpful. If you're looking for a nice off the beaten path this is it. Saw momma dear and two little ones. Very quiet and peaceful. Love the bonfires and fishing off the dock.

we arrived later than expected but the owners greeted us with a smile and gave us a quick tour around the resort. Our cabins were super clean, which is pretty much how the whole property was also. Other guests were telling us that each year they come back just to see the upgrades. We could tell they took pride in their resort. Tom (owner) told us where the hot spots to fish were and the other owner Deb let us know about must-see sights in and around Branson. The fishing was great and the view was breathtaking. Never felt so relaxed and made to feel at home as we did at Twin Oaks. We will definitely be back...

This is the only review I have ever posted ever. Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve been staying at various lake resorts for 40 years and this is by far the worst experience I had. ||When I asked Deborah to meet me in the office to discuss extra charges that she had written down, she spoke over me the entire time and slung personal insults. When I asked her to please listen she responded “No… You’re going to listen to me. Your husband said you’re a ‘ditzy airhead’ and don’t listen to nothin” while pounding her palm on the counter. I’m a public school teacher and am use to keeping a professional demeanor when dealing with adults in contentious situations, however she repeated that same insult 3 times with the intention of trying to rattle me. Randomly found this place and booked it for a group vacation. We rented the lake house and one of their pontoons during our stay. Everything is very clean! The owners, Debbie and Tom, were very helpful and friendly! They are slowly but surely revamping their resort and the updates are very nice. Debbie gave us a tour of a couple of different units which was very nice of her. The pavilion by the pool was a great place to hang out and enjoy the view of the lake between the trees. It was so nice being on lake time there that I forgot my phone in the house so no pictures were taken. The first night we stayed there we were already talking about planning another trip here.
