Shore Acres Resort

My sons and I stayed at Shore Acres this Summer, sight unseen, and we are very glad we did! It felt a little like a step back in time - when people actually spent time outside when they vacationed at the lake, not stayed inside and watch Netflix. Our cabin was cozy and clean. Even as the cabin feels a little retro, they've clearly upgraded the shower and the mattresses. They have a nice dock, clean pool and the grounds were well kept. Guest services really could not have been nicer. Would recommend highly!

A preserved piece of Americana! Rustic but definitely with all the modern conveniences. Great for family reunions and small groups. Nestled against the lake, almost a part of the environment, yet minutes to attractions and just an hour from the Springfield airport.

We had an amazing stay at Shore Acres resort! The cabin was clean and comfortable. It provided everything we needed. We had a great view of the lake and a covered deck. Chris and Andrea were very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Boat slips were close and well lit at night. Overall our stay was fantastic and relaxing and we will definitely stay there again!!!

Great place for couples or families. Great location. Accommodations were great. We booked our stay for 1 week. After 4 days, we ran out of trash bags. Called for more, but never received any. If I could make a suggestion. A box of trash bags under the sink would be perfect. As well as toilet paper. Felt like a pest calling to ask for more. Lastly, we were charged a cleaning fee after we booked a year in advance. When asked about it. We were told. It's on the website now.

Wonderful quiet family destination. We booked last minute for the Labor Day weekend and were just kind of taking what we could get. We we're so surprised to see how nice the cabins were Andrea was so friendly! Her and Chris had our cabin squeaky clean and went out of their way to make us feel welcome the entire time we were there! We have stayed in alot of cabins all over Missouri throughout the years, and while kind of small and a tad more squished together than I like, I literally have never seen one cleaner nor met managers more friendly and accommodating than Andrea and Chris! The layout and grounds are beautiful and the cove was quiet and peaceful even on a busy holiday weekend! All in all a really nice resort made absolutely great by the folks running it!!
