Tucker Hill Lodge

I’m not saying staying at Tucker Hill Lodge was life-changing…but I did briefly consider calling my boss and asking if “relocating to cozy mountain lodge permanently” qualifies as a remote work setup. From the moment we got there, everything was so smooth it felt suspicious — like someone had secretly read our group chat and planned the perfect weekend for us. The rooms were warm, the vibes were elite, and the hot chocolate and snack supply for the kids (and let’s be honest… the adults) was always fully stocked. Huge shoutout to Blaine and Sarah, who were basically the behind-the-scenes MVPs of the entire trip. Walkways? Plowed. Questions? Answered. Problems? Didn’t exist. Better in person! Photos don’t do it justice. Clean and very well maintained. Innkeepers available and accommodating. We splurged and stayed in the Premium Honeymoon room. It was very large. Beautifully appointed. Cozy Fireplace plus a room heater. Comfortable couch for watching TV. Our friends stayed in the Standard Honeymoon. Not as large but also beautifully appointed. Common areas are comfortable and inviting to hang out. Location convenient to Waitsfield VT for restaurants and shopping. Easy drive to Stowe and/or Montpelier. We did day trips to both. Gotta love the family that owns and operates. They give it their all.

I’m laying in bed right now wishing for just one more day at Tucker Hill Lodge. I feel like I’ve been in heaven these last few days here. My family has been blown away by the warm Vermont hospitality!! This is our second time traveling to the area and Tucker Hill Lodge blows our previous stay out of the water!! From the seamless check in, to cozy time staying warm and toasty, consider me a happy camper!! Safe to say I’ve found my home away from home for a fellow Tucker!

My stay at Tucker Hill Lodge was absolutely delightful from start to finish! The staff were extremely helpful, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure that my family had the best weekend getaway of our life!! A young man named Blaine that worked on the property was a master of his craft, making sure all walkways were plowed, and warm hot chocolate for my little ones was ready to go! See you again soon Tucker Hill Lodge!!

We stayed at the Tucker Hill Lodge for the first time during our tour of New England in October 2025. The Lodge is in a rural, peaceful area, and conveniently located to visit Stowe VT. Nearby Waterbury also has very good options for dining. We found the lodge to feel more like staying in a large home. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Of special note is the staff who are very friendly and helpful. We appreciated their approach to using text messaging to facilitate checking in and checking out and other communication. Overall we found Tucker Hill Lodge to be a very good value option for visiting this area of Vermont.
