Tru by Hilton North Augusta

I had a wonderful experience thanks to Heather at the front desk. She was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful with check-in and local recommendations. Her attitude set the tone for my stay. Please recognize her as she is a real asset to the hotel. I really love her story and how she beat the odds and came to where she is today. A great motivator and inspiration for others. The hotel itself was also great. I enjoyed playing pool and watching tv in the lobby before retiring to a good hot shower and sleeping in a comfortable, cozy bed. My stay was only for one night but I will definitely be coming back.

We recently stayed. My kids always enjoyed the breakfast. Coffee was good too. Staff was amazing. Very clean hotel. My son left a toy there and they offered to send it to us. If we ever come back to this area we will be staying here again.

Business travel for work in Aiken. Lifetime Diamond traveling solo. This is a fairly new property and my incentive to book over other Hilton properties was the EV charger. However, the two J1772 plugs (which work with most non-Tesla vehicles) was managed by a third party Envirospark, which requires downloading an app and adding a CC. It is not free. Charges are $2hr, which for me would be the equivalent of paying $8/gal of gas. Not what I was expecting. The hotel website does not explicitly mention this is fee-based although it is listed like an amenity. However I was able to use a 110v outlet on the back side of the hotel to get some EV mileage overnight. Every other aspect of the hotel was fine. Positive: The breakfast options. Negative: The floors in our room were really dirty and the room smelled like a dog had been in it. There should be designated animal rooms. My allergies started acting up immediately.

What a great place to stay. Hotel was clean and quiet. Lots of activities to do in the lobby. To put this place over 5 stars, I forgot my tablet in the room after check out. I didn’t realize it until later that evening, I called and talked to the front desk at 8pm. She said she didn’t see my tablet, she took my info and told me to call back tomorrow. Which I got real busy and didn’t never call back. I received a phone call from them around 6pm telling me they got my tablet and will be shipping it out free of charge. I received it by UPS today. It’s good to see people still have some integrity. Thank you again.
