Lookaway Inn

My two night stay at the Lookaway Inn was fantastic! John, the innkeeper was super helpful from the time I called to book my rooms and upon meeting him, ensured I had everything I needed. My room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and very clean. I was asked if I needed anything such as a small microwave which was very beneficial. Linda was also wonderful! She was very accessible when I had questions. Linda prepared a delicious breakfast and provided a lot of interesting information on the various things to see and do in N. Augusta. The Inn was a great location to stay if you want to run any of the races in N. Augusta that start at the amphitheater and John and Linda helped make it a successful run for me! I will look forward to staying there again!

I stopped by Lookaway Inn while gathering photo and video content for my travel agency. I was fortunate to meet John, the owner, upon arrival. He warmly welcomed me and encouraged me to capture as much content as I needed. His passion for local travel and hospitality was evident, and the inn itself is beautifully maintained, full of Southern charm, and thoughtfully designed. Lookaway Inn is a standout property and one I would confidently recommend to travelers seeking a memorable, locally rooted stay.

Enjoyed quiet night in quaint historic inn with southern charm and helpful owner/manager and breakfast attendant Linda. Linda made us breakfast-to-order in the main mansion and answered our questions about its history and what it's like there during the Masters tournament. We were just passing through on a long road trip and this made for a memorable overnight stop.

hospitable check-in, cook-to-order breakfast was good, bed comfortable and room nicely decorated, BUT main building was locked between 5-6pm, room was not serviced over a four day stay, no coffee or refrig in the room, cable tv only (no streaming), thermostat has sign that it controlled multiple rooms (?!), and make sure to check the times for breakfast since they are not open early.

A wonderful place to stay, and we will happily recommend to others.||When we arrived at the Lookaway Inn we were late due to issues with our journey. John came back to the Inn to help us to check in which we were very grateful for. Our room was lovely and spacious, with high ceilings. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I liked the little touches such as the individual make-up wipes in the bathroom. ||The area is quiet and peaceful, we slept very well during our stay. Breakfast is provided and there were more than enough options for us, with eggs cooked to your liking and fresh coffee. Linda was so friendly, it was lovely being able to chat with her in the mornings. Both John and Linda gave us great recommendations during our stay.||The location was perfect for us as we were going
