Tru by Hilton Lubbock Southwest

I can't rave enough about the cleanliness of this hotel and their friendly staff. Especially Esmerelda who went above and beyond when I lost the cord to my phone charger. She gave me hers!! Wonderful pool area and free breakfast with lots of options. Nice lounge area with pool table, giant Connect 4 and Jenga too.

I was in Lubbock to visit family for Christmas. We had a great time while at the hotel. It was cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. Shoutout to Bishop working in the lobby. He was always friendly and helpful!

Positive: "" Negative: Room was very noisy - people above loud walking. AC didn’t cool room. No ice bucket. Only 1 cup. 3 lights didn’t work - 2 didn’t even have bulbs. Room didn’t have coffee maker or microwave.

Staff was great. No waffle bar, no hot chocolate, no yogurt bar as promised on the website. Lots of out of order signs around the building. No regular sugar at the coffee bar. The pool sticks are missing the tops, there were no board games except uno. Room was clean but peeling wallpaper and water damage around windows. Definitely needs a refresh around here. We booked for the breakfast that they were out of everything for at 6 am.

Great place to stay in Lubbock! Perfect location. Great staff, friendly with A1 customer service. Kyria was super helpful with our reservation and took care of us whenever we needed anything. Will be our go to whenever we need an overnight in Lubbock!
