Travelodge by Wyndham Vaughn

The reveiws were a little cross. But turns out it was a good stay great pressure hot water comfy beds! Kinda crazy having to check in at the diner but was able to get a good hot meal after checkin

Yesterday afternoon I drove into extremely small Vaughn, New Mexico and saw that it has mostly shut-down old businesses. I had made a reservation at this Travelodge, forgetting that for many years Travelodge has been in an agreement with Hallcon to lodge their workers. The Vaughn hotel still takes in a few other travelers such as me to stay diversified. This Vaughn hotel Room 114 had a real loud plumbing noise that came on periodically - quite disturbing - and I had to turn the bathtub faucet on and off to make it stop. Also one of the two large towels felt wet and stayed that way even though I had hung it to dry all night. A person upstairs or beside me (I assume a Hallcon worker) played tunes last night and then again this morning. Get this: This morning a man opened my door some

Positive: It was close to my driving route Negative: When asked for a credit card for incidentals I was charged a second time for my room. The whole experience was weird! No front desk in Hotel. It?s located in little diner across parking lot. Entire hotel was booked by railroad workers, except 1 room.

This hotel has Horrible customer service. The front desk workers do not like to honor the app reservations and will tell you hotel is for railroad workers. Needs maintenence. Only good I can say is it is clean. Help with any problems you may aquire is almost impossible.

Older motel, upgraded. Don't expect a Drury... but still better then OYO.
