Travelodge by Wyndham Seattle North of Downtown

My son and I stayed here when we went to a concert. The front desk staff was super helpful, especially when I saw my sink was dirty and she came down and cleaned it right away. The beds were comfy and the pillows were nice. The best part was the lack of smell in my room. I cant stand perfumey smells, or the smell of cleaners. It was just neutral. Super important to me. It was really quiet, even tho it was by a kind of busy road. Quick off and on the freeway. I knew going in there was no breakfast, so I brought my own snacks. They do have coffee 24/7 that was pretty good. I would stay again for sure. It cost less to stay there even with Ubers to and from the arena than staying in another Wyndham closer.

Do NOT stay at this place unless you want to feel depressed, old, and as if you are an inconvenience to the manager, and you love hanging out in the rain and cold, when the manager is too busy to attend to patrons. I arrived at 2:15 pm for a 3pm check-in but the lobby entrance was locked. So I called the number posted saying I don't mind waiting until 3pm but asked if I could wait in the lobby. She yelled "I value my time off work and I'm not gonna let you in until 3pm!!!" This woman sadistically didn't care about the storm in 40 degree weather I was standing in. I'd say she borders on the sadistic side.

Positive: Proximity to Green Lake was fantastic. There was a fair amount of traffic noise throughout the day, although it was never an issue for me overnight. This hotel was extremely afforable and if that is your top priority, then this is a good option. Negative: Most of the electrical plugs in the room did not work (the item would just fall out when plugged in).

The bed was comfy and the pillows were soft. Great to have a mini fridge and a microwave. The chairs to the table were nice but heavy. I was put off by the amount of broken pieces/parts in the room. Bathtub had trim held together by clear packing tape with weird yellowish brown spots in places. The faucet light covering broken in more then one place. The small windows at the back of the room was locked in place by a piece of what looked like broken wood.

We booked a reservation and when we went to the office there was a sign on the window saying that they aren’t in and to call a number so We called the number asking if there was a way for us to come in an hour early and she responded in such a rude tone, and just was very rude in response. We decided to wait and finally we go back to the office at the time our reservation was and when we got there the same woman who answered the phone was at front desk we told her we had a reservation and she asked for Id and credit card and when we were telling her we only had debit she was extremely rude about it instead of explaining things to us in a NICE manner no she’s raising her voice at us then later when she was showing us on her screen we were trying to explain to her she proceeded to tell us to
