I absolutely loved this hotel! It's so homey, it feels more like an apartment. The shared lobby space is cozy & warm & there is free candy in bowls all over the place! You can pick out a record or cassette, grab a drink @ the bar & relax. The rooms are above a live music venue & they give ear plugs in your room, but honestly - I found the music sort of soothing. The bands were done by 12:30am every night. The Here-After is my new favorite Seattle bar, with a comedy stage / movie theater with nightly acts. The hotel in the perfect area, within walking distance to Pike Place & the Space Needle - and right across the street from the Cyclops, which is a close 2nd favorite bar. There is not a front desk, but there was staff there every day, as well as a room you can go into for extra towels/she

We love staying at unique hotels, and the Hotel Crocodile definitely ticked that box. The location in Belltown, a 1/2 mile walk in either direction to either the Space Needle or the Pike Place Market. ||The hotel doesn't have a traditional check-in desk, which was kind of nice not having to wait on arrival. All the information, door codes, room #, we're sent immediately after booking via email and text.||The hotel is located up a staircase above The Crocodile music venue. For being above a music venue, the music was surprisingly not very loud at all within the walls of the hotel. The concert below also stopped at 10pm, but the hotel does provide plenty of ear plugs if you worry about the noise. We stayed in room #1, which was surprisingly large, with a seating area, and a large bed and bat

We went here to see the band Good Neighbours in concert , and I must say it was really incredible. The space is great for small intimate concerts. Good Neighbour's were awesome. The acoustics in this place is Amazing. The band sounded like their album. One of the best concerts we have been to in awhile. If you get the chance to come here for a concert I highly recommend doing it. You won't be disappointed by any means!

DO NOT STAY HERE! I had the worst ever hotel experience. I was assigned room 1. They had also rented the floor to a party. That party included loudpseakers 10 feet behind my door. Earbuds at full volume did not cover their horrible music. Everything in the room shook. Mind you, there were no concerts advertised on their website at the dates I booked. The room did not sit above a convert venue. No, it sat in the middle of a loud party. Try and see how much sound a simple door blocks out. None. Instead of apologizing, they argued against my refund. I could not stay there. It was simply impossible to sit in that chaos. I rebooked elsewhere. They will argue against my comments but they know what they did. These are horrible people.

I stayed at this hotel for one night specifically because I was in Seattle to see a band playing at the venue. As someone who goes to a lot of concerts, nothing sounded more delightful than the idea of staying at the venue. As others have mentioned there is no elevator and you have to walk up a fairly serious flight of stairs. At the top is a lounge area and a bar. My room was right off the lounge. I dont know if it was because the show was a Sunday night or because the crowd for this band is older (40s+) but i didnt see much happening in the lounge area while I was there other than some people eating pizza. I dont know if the bar was ever open while I was there. The room was small and a bit older but kitschy and kind of what you'd expect. The only issue was there wasnt a ton of plugs for
