Travelodge by Wyndham Cedar City

The image of the hotel is absolutely false advertising. The hotel is run downed and needs a lot of work. Sleeping in our car or on a park bench would of been more comfortable. Non-smoking room still smelled of cigarette smoke and was unclean.

Positive: The room had a small refrigerator Negative: There were some sketchy people around the motel.

Musty smell. Very few amenities (no coffee in room, no working ice machine except in office, which reeked of cigarettes). Parking lot in need of repairs. So lumpy it made loading/unloading car difficult. Bathroom light works only with fan on so you can't use light without constant fan noise. Heating unit in room very noisy and woke us up everytime it came on. I expected better from a Wyndam hotel. I will never stay there again.

From the start it was a bad experience. We rang the bell for service because no one was at the front desk. No one came so we rang one more time then were met with “you only have to ring that once”. We get our room and are getting ready to relax and pull the sheets back to find a whole toenail in the sheets. I go and report the issue and requested to get clean sheets to sleep on. The woman at the desk was helpful in getting us into another room. Once getting into that room we are getting settled in and we find a dirty bandaid in the bathroom on the floor. This place was clearly not cleaned thoroughly and we won’t be staying here again.

It was right off the interstate, which was nice. But honestly that was one of the very few things that was nice about it. It wasn’t very clean, there was a dust layer on top of the head board, lamps, and a few other places. When I pulled back the sheets to get in the bed they had someone else’s hair in them. The staff was nice and gave me new sheets but I still felt as though the room was not properly cleaned. If it wouldn’t have been so late I would’ve went somewhere else for the night. I would not recommend this hotel overall.
