Big Yellow Inn

We are so thankful we found Big Yellow Inn last minute during our road trip home from Disneyland. The weather turned late at night and safety for our family came first, and even booking around 8 PM, the owners were incredibly kind and accommodating. Check-in after hours was easy, the home was SO cozy—truly felt like staying at your grandma’s house in the best way—and everything was warm and welcoming. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, home-style, and comforting, and the owners were some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. This place turned a stressful situation into such a memorable, comforting stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for cozy, charm, and genuine hospitality!

We stayed at the Big Yellow Inn over the weekend, and it was an absolute delight. This place is a total hidden gem! The inn itself is a stunning historic mansion that is incredibly charming and photogenic. The atmosphere inside is so cozy and inviting, filled with beautiful antiques and thoughtful touches in every room. The service was truly top-notch. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel more like family friends than just guests. I also have to mention the breakfast—it was delicious, hearty, and clearly made with care. As for the location, it’s perfect. It’s tucked away in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, yet still within walking distance of the university and downtown Cedar City. The Big Yellow In is a block and a half away from the Shakespeare Festival Venue. There is adequate parking behind the building and check in - check out is a breeze.||The decorations are an accumulation of curios and artwork acquired over the years. Done very tastefully and extremely intersting to explore.|The owners are friendly and engaged. The actually built the place from the ground up which surprised me. When you walk down the grand staircase, you imagine this was a grand old home from the early 1900's.||The breakfast is hardy and very tasty. You can't go wrong staying here!

This B&B was so fun! While booking, I was a little worried by the amount of ornamentation that the pictures show in each room - I personally lean more minimalist - but how do you ignore these reviews?? We now understand the hype, the whole house was charming, and I never felt overwhelmed. There is definitely a lot to see, but it was fun to look at all the different keepsakes they've collected and it was unbelievably clean! HOW do you keep that many treasures dusted?? I was blown away. The owners were so kind and accommodating. My daughter and I were visiting for a hockey tournament. Due to a late game schedule, we arrived after 11:00 PM. I called in advance and Scott left instructions for us. The food was wonderful and such a great break from typical hotel fare. I will certainly be back
