Trails End Resort

The cottages are comfortable. Full kitchen, nicely decorated. Located near town. On the lake with boat rental available. Beautiful scenery. The locals are helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this resort.

Trails End Resort is in a beautiful location and has so much to offer. The cabins are very clean and have everything needed for a fun and relaxing vacation. It is centrally located to many of the Upper Peninsula attractions. We visited Kitch-iti-kipi (a must see) Pictured Rocks, Whitefish Point, among other attractions. All are within close proximity to the resort. You couldn't ask for a better host than Adam! He was very accommodating to our needs without any hesitation and is close by. The resort is also dog friendly which is awesome. The grounds are very well keep with firewood, boat rentals,kayaks,bbq's and more. What more could you ask for! Trails End Resort will definitely be our go to vacation spot in the U.P!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Elk House. It was clean and updated. Owners are quick to respond if you need them. They left the paddle boat out for us even though it was a little late in season (late October) for it. We took it out every morning to go fishing and caught a few really impressive bass and pike (one smallmouth bass measured 20" -- just one inch short of a Master Angler patch from the DNR). Curtis is a small town, not much to do in the off season, but the locals are friendly and The Shipwreck has some really good fried fish. Would definitely visit again.

WOW!!! Adam, the owner, is a phenomenal guy. First and foremost, i need to say that he alone would draw me back to this place due to the ease of communication as well as generous hospitality. I cannot say enough about Adam and his customer service. Secondly....these places are wonderful! The cabins are clean, contain pretty much everything you'd need for a getaway, and are in a great location. The sunset views are incredible and the views in general are great. The fire pits are spread throughout the property and you can choose which location you want to have your fires on any given day. Nearby there was good food at the Shipwreck bar and at Tally Ho BBQ. I wouldn't think twice about lodging here, i will absolutely be back down the road.

AWSOME. stayed at Elk House clean,comfy,cozy and clean. Most everything looked newer. Most resorts would not call, only text and email....irritating! Not here Adam was on it. Even let us check in early and leave later... 8 hours...big difference. In the middle of everything. I WILL BE BACK
