The Norwegian Woods Cabin Rental

We were beyond pleased with our recent stay! The pictures don’t do the cabin justice, we will definitely stay here again! John & Melissa were very nice to deal with, very accommodating and friendly! The big cabin (house) is where we stayed, we enjoyed the back deck area and the fire pit, is a very peaceful and relaxing! There was plenty of room for our family of 8! The Cabin had everything we needed minus food/beverages.

Perfect home base for seeing the sights in the UP. Cabin had all the amenities of home and was very comfortable. Plenty of beds and places to sleep. The living room could use new and larger furniture so everyone has a comfortable place to sit. But what is there was okay for our group. The owners delivered our firewood right down by the fire pit. Now that’s great service! The cabin was spic and span when we checked in. Overall, a wonderfully cozy place to stay!

The cabin itself and surrounding woods are beautiful. The cabin is fully furnished and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. It is surrounded by woods and hidden from the road. A large balcony overlooks the Manistique River.. There are many tourist attractions with in short distances to enjoy. Sense Wildlife refuge is a must see as well as Taquananome Falls. The care takers for the cabin own The Big Cedar Campground next door. They are very knowledgeable of the area and very nice. They also operate a canoe and kayak livery. Prices are very reasonable and the owners very accommodating. My group did two different kayak trips down the river. It was beautiful. They picked us up at the exit point of our run and were there waiting for us. My group gets together every year in MI f
