Trail Motel

The service was bad the older lady was very rude when we asked for a different room bc the room we were first in had roaches and cigarette ashes on the ground near the bed and when I first walked in the room, smell like cigarettes and the curtain in the bathroom look like it had mold on it. I understand it was kinda late at night but I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in there when a roach fell right on my arm as soon as I laid down after a long trip up here and wanted to just wanted to rest.

If you’re staying here for work, just be cautious. They tend to increase rates or add unexpected charges, especially if they know your options are limited. Make sure to double-check your bill and get everything in writing upfront. The front desk staff weren’t very friendly or helpful, which made the experience less pleasant. The rooms are in rough shape—definitely not updated, and the carpet was so dirty it left the bottom of my feet black. If you’re in a bind, it might work for a short stay, but I’d recommend looking at other options if you can. Just know what you’re walking into.

Room was ok. Price was decent, I guess. Was a typical "cockroach inn". Served it's purpose. When it came close to time to check out, the lady that runs the motel called and reminded us that check out time was in 15 minutes. Was all fine and dandy till right at 11:00am. She came, knocked on the door, and let us know that we needed to be out and that our room was her last room she had to clean. When it took us a little more time to get everything packed up and out of the room, she got pushy and a little rude with us. I understand that she needed to clean the room, which wasn't the cleanest when we checked in in the first place. When she saw that we were packing up and trying to get out of her way, she could have given us some room to do it instead of pushing us to leave ASAP. Was almost like

Rooms are affordable for what they provide. The lady owner is rather friendly although watch out for the male staff. They were rather rude to my coworker when he asked for an ashtray. Overall I recommend this for anyone working far from home.

Room was just ok, bathroom was extremely dated, it was so old I bet it made the land rush. Indian lady at the front desk was rude and the office stunk like a bad curry bar in Bangladesh. I understand an owner living on the property but the owners wouldn't put up with me cooking and stinking up the place. We shouldn't have to put up with in either.
