Trail Magic Chalet

We recently stayed at Trail Magic for the first time and it was absolutely wonderful. You can tell the owners put a lot of time and thought into making it a welcoming and relaxing retreat. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces are all beautiful and well maintained and cozy. We loved the layout of the house with the open common space, beautiful views out the windows, and my kids loved the top room. There’s a small town nearby with grocery store and cute shops, there’s the state park, national wildlife refuge, and tons of other places to hike and explore nature. You truly cannot beat the more remote area if you are looking for a place relax with family and get out into nature… but still have cable internet! We truly enjoyed our time and plan to go back again sometime 🙂

Trail Magic Chalet is the perfect family getaway! The chalet was very inviting, cozy and beautifully decorated. There was so much thought in every detail. The gated entrance into the community was very private and offered an exclusive feel. The architecture of the chalet was stunning. The eagle’s nest/treehouse area was a great place for the kids to play and explore. The fully stocked kitchen made it very easy to prepare meals for our family during our stay. We especially loved the hot tub. The roof offered privacy and a relaxed setting to unwind after our day out. We had an amazing time and are already planning our next trip back to Trail Magic. What a great getaway!! Owners have thought of everything! It felt like home away from home. Lots of space, but all together. The kids enjoyed (supervised) time in the hot tub. There were many games played around the table and the kitchen lacked nothing. We were able to prepare a wonderful feast while we were there! As someone with thick hair, it's worth mentioning the water pressure was great!! We will stay here again!

Perfect family getaway! Beautifully decorated with new appliances and I found everything I needed to cook and keep the kids entertained! Great location too! Sitting on the back porch and watching the view of mountains and hearing wildlife was peaceful. I was there in the early summer- trails everywhere, creeks and rivers to play in, nature center near by, small quaint town with grocery store, shops, restaurants nearby. Everyone found something they enjoyed. I will definitely be returning!

Great location, great house! This house felt like a treehouse -- I loved looking out the big windows into the top of the trees. I could see the ski slopes across the valley. I came here for a girls' getaway, but I can't wait to come back with my family -- I know my kids would love staying in the eagles nest. The place felt really clean and recently redone. It looked like new flooring and new carpet. My bed was comfortable and on the firmer side, which I prefer. The host provided great information on outdoor activities nearby (and there are a lot of great options for exploration nearby!).
