Land of Canaan Vacation Resort

Lots to do here. 2 hot tubs, a pool, shuffle board, mini golf and there is horseback riding right behind them!! Well worth it. They are central to pretty much everything around.

Been going here for 17 years. With little kids, the playground, cozy living space/kitchen, and horses next door brought joy all week. As they grew we went more places like Blackwater Falls stairs and free afternoon concerts at the Purple Fiddle, started cannonballing in the pool, and rode the horses. As teens, every year we find more to do - Douglas Falls, star photography at the wetlands boardwalk, board games in Thomas. The resort is just perfect - nice to stay at even on a rainy week, especially with the indoor pool- and so much to do for hiking, culture, food, and really nice people. Also this year some units allow dogs!

Very quiet peaceful place to relax, everyone here is really nice. I don't have one bad thing to say about where we stayed. They have pet friendly condos so I brought my dog with me, they accommodated her for a $100 fee, tie out off back patio for when potty breaks are needed. The condo has everything you would possibly need, just need to bring yourself and food/drinks. Non smoking inside, however there is cigarette butt containers all around property as well as front and back patios. Very clean grounds, well taken care of. Several things to do onsite for kids and adults (days you don't want to leave to do anything you can still do something). Very close proximity to SEVERAL attractions. Well worth the money! My family and I are looking forward to coming back summer 2026!

The unit we stayed in was okay on the inside BUT the outside? Not nice looking at all. The siding on the building is in dire need of being powerwashed. The concrete outside needs an overall, lots of rules and regulations for YOU to do before departure. Sorry, to say this has been the worse looking place, that we stayed at in over 20 years. Please fix the outside of these buildings and property. Not a good impression upon arrival.
