TownePlace Suites by Marriott Vincennes

We have been staying here since it opened. Convenient to visiting family etc. Area is safe, etc. Have never had an issue staying here . On our last visit , the lobby smelled Iike marijuana. When we asked the clerk if this bothered her she said no. Later when we came down she had sprayed the area with air freshener. Pool was closed. The hotel is starting to get rundown. In need of an update. This hotel is needed in Vincennes, so hopefully they’ll improve it soon.

Positive: Super easy to get to and quick check in. Fresh cookies too :) our room was on the first floor close to the desk which was nice having recently had knee surgery. Negative: Sounded like a herd of elephants above our head. I waited u til after 10pm to call about it even though my daughter and I were trying to go to sleep early as she was taking the SAT the next morning. Didn?t stop til well after 11pm.

Hotel is currently getting remodeled, but it doesn’t affect the wonderful experience! The assistant manager is truly the nicest I’ve ever met—she genuinely cares about all her guests. Every staff member is incredibly polite and friendly. The breakfast served daily is excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great stay. Love the staff—thank you for caring! If there were more stars, I’d definitely click them. 😀

We had an emergency at our house and needing housing quick. Not only did the staff find us a room early and very quickly, the hotel itself is amazing. The front desk clerk was great and the manager Joy was VERY nice and professional. Great customer service and great hotel.

I have been a loyal Marriott guest for years, proudly holding Titanium Elite status and literally one night away from achieving Ambassador Elite. I’ve stayed at this property many times and never once had an issue — until today. I requested a late checkout, something that should be a standard courtesy for elite members. Instead, I was met with shocking disrespect from the new manager, Joy H. She was rude, dismissive, and told me I was being “inconsiderate.” She also tried to justify denying my request by mentioning the type of rate I booked under — as if my loyalty and status no longer matter because of a minor discount. Her tone and attitude made me feel disrespected, belittled, and completely unappreciated as a Marriott Bonvoy member. This is not the level of hospitality or professiona
