Quality Inn Vincennes

Me and my family have stayed here a total of 3 times. Usually when we travel down here to see her family. Last time we were here they had a pool. This time it was unavailable. The whole hotel was very cold. Minus our room. (The heat being the only good thing) lol. As soon as we got into the room, I moved the remote and a cock roach was just chilling playing peek a boo. I killed it of course and took it to the front desk. The gentleman working night shift all he said was thank you I’ll tell my manager. lol. Like what?! (Also thank god we hadn’t unpacked the car yet). We had to stay cuz they took our only money for somewhere. But long story short woke up in the morning, and it was 939. Check out wasn’t till 11. Value for money spent, this place is hard to beat. It looks like the hotel was originally a Holiday Inn, complete with a restaurant and indoor pool. Those are closed off now, but the room and hotel were quiet, the bed was comfy, the shower was hot, the TV worked and had plenty of channels. Breakfast was simple but good as well - waffles, cereal, milk, coffee, bananas.

There were water leaks in the hallway, only one employee on duty, the hotel itself was run down and very dated. Had not internet. Only good thing about the stay was the TV worked. Used this hotel for a work trip and only stayed one night, but would never take my spouse here or any other colleague. Probably will not be back at this location.

Hotel is very ran down with tacky remodeling or repairs. This room was considered a suite. Really? A bed had been removed and a wall built to make a separate sitting area. The first room they gave us room 205 had a connecting room door that all locks were broken on. The wall board was falling off the wall, the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall, and the tub looked like it had not been cleaned. They had charged a $50 deposit for damages, so I immediately returned to the front desk with concerns. They did place us in a different room 228. This room had a towel shelf falling off the wall and cracks in the ceiling, but did not have adjoining room doors. Outside of rooms was also very run down. I was told that the deposit was reversed upon checkout, but when Monday and Tuesday came with the $50 fully withdrawn from my account, I called to express concern. The man that answered was very disrespectful about the return funds. The money finally retu
