Doll's Motel

I was pleasantly surprised when I seen the state of the rooms here after seeing the place from the outside. The pics don’t do it any justice. In my past experiences from places like this, the rooms aren’t the best but they are nice and clean here and the shower and bath tub was pristine. The owner was nice and friendly and there isn’t much I can say bad about the place. They do have Wi-Fi here but it keeps going In and out on the phones and I can’t connect on my laptop but that I still give it 5 stars and recommend it highly if you need a room.

When I went to pick up my reservation I was told I couldn't because the worker had quit and the person running it didn't know how. I wasn't leaving without getting my dolly. They finally found someone that was able to do the uhaul stuff. After that my dolly had a flat tire. The guy put air in it and said I would be fine. Needless to say Miles down the road I had a flat. I had to call roadside assistance leave my car and dolly on the side of the highway over night. My rental was for 24hrs. They said I wouldn't be charged for bringing it back 6hrs late. But they went ahead and charged me for 3 days and 14hrs when I most definitely didn't even have the equipment for 48 hrs. I've talked to multiple ppl never got my money back. I give 4 stars to the owner and his wife for all their Neverending work around the property. Always on the go, yet never an interruption. Be warned though, until the siding gets finished you may wanna stay elsewhere. The Crew they hired for finishing the buildings is definitely not A Band Of Carpenters! Literally Hammered the same nail Like Four Hours straight today I Think!

Great value! Room was very clean with daily service. Rooms are somewhat sparce with no desk, chair or clothes hanger bar. My stay was quiet and the owners and others working there were nice and helpful people.

We rented a Uhaul truck. The lady was great.
