TownePlace Suites by Marriott Savannah Pooler

Stayed one night in a brand-new room, which made the stay feel fresh and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, and the front desk clerk Shante was pleasant and friendly. Check-in was also quick and easy, making for a smooth stay overall.

Stayed at this brand new hotel on a Monday night and then again on Friday as a midpoint rest stop during family travel. The hotel is dual-branded with TownePlace for long-term stays and Fairfield for short-term stays. I chose the TownePlace to take advantage of the kitchenette and the refrigerator. Overall the hotel is nicely designed and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the closet had ample storage to keep the bags/belongings off the floor. The two queen bed suite on the 1st floor wasn't the most comfortable. Sheets felt like paper bags, stiff and noisy, and the mattress was way too soft to get a restful sleep. The unit with the king bed was much better with practical layout. Breakfast was pretty average but the number of food offerings felt limited. The website description says "n

Great experience, friendly staff, good location 20min drive to downtown Savannah. The only downside was the AC unit in room 303 was extremely loud which made it hard to rest.

WARNING DO NOT BOOK HERE!! *BED BUG INFESTION* The rooms are NOT upkept and their are BUGS in the beds check your mattresses! They are NOT family friendly and they called our room 17 times for our kids LAUGHING at the tv shows or even walking around in-between 12pm-7pm. They do NOT change the towels as they are supposed too and want you to use dirty towels for the week when they clean they DO NOT change the sheets they just make the bed. They leave Dirty trash in the hallways. DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO BRING HOME BED BUGS
